Procurement Associate – Technology & Projects
Responsibilities & Duties
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Associate to support sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing activities within a fast-paced technology and project implementation environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting multi-vendor project teams, technology rollouts, and procurement coordination across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, professional services, and infrastructure components.

Support project implementation teams by ensuring timely sourcing, tracking, and delivery of project-specific material

Work with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and align with project timelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase orders in procurement systems.

Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and follow up on deliveries.

Monitor vendor performance and assist with vendor evaluations and contract compliance

Coordinate with finance and logistics teams to ensure timely invoice reconciliation and payments.

Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing supplier relationships.

Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in a technology, IT, or project-based organization

Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain logistics.

Familiarity with tech products, software licensing, and ICT services procurement is a plus.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Zoho, etc.).

Ability to multitask and manage procurement for concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in agile or cross-functional project teams.

Exposure to enterprise technology rollouts or infrastructure implementation projects.

Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP – nice to have)

Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
