Senior Accountant
Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and filing of statutory returns, ensuring compliance in accordance with the law.

Oversee the general ledger, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Conduct internal audits and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management and stakeholders.

Monitor changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Support special projects and financial analysis as requested by management.
Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA-K, ACCA) is required.

Must have 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

In-depth knowledge of tax laws and accounting regulations.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
